These Terms of Service govern your use of OwnCrafted ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Products

Our current Moroccan rugs are handwoven to order in our Oued Zem workshop using 100% natural sheep wool. Because every rug is handmade, slight variations in color, pattern and dimensions can occur. We send progress photos or videos during production and detailed photos and a final video for your approval before dispatch.

2. Custom requests

Available sizes and prices are shown on each product page. For another size or a color change, contact us on WhatsApp before ordering so we can confirm the request and price.

3. Orders and payment

Prices are displayed in USD unless the storefront shows another supported currency.
Payment is taken in full when the order is placed.
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
You may cancel within 24 hours of placing your order. After 24 hours, cancellation is no longer available because production begins. This does not affect the pre-dispatch approval and 30-day return protections below, or any mandatory rights under applicable law.

4. Production, approval and delivery

Made-to-order rugs can take up to 30 days to produce. Before shipping, we send final photos and video and reconfirm the delivery address and phone number. Nothing ships without the customer's approval. We do not ship without your approval. If you do not approve the finished rug before dispatch, you may request a full refund. Approved orders are sent with DHL Express, with estimated delivery of 3–6 business days after dispatch. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

5. Shipping, duties and taxes

Shipping and applicable duties or taxes are included for delivery to the USA, UK and selected European countries listed in our Shipping Policy. For all other available destinations, a flat $45 shipping charge is applied automatically at checkout; duties and taxes are not included. Customers can order directly without contacting us first.

6. Returns, damage and incorrect orders

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, including for made-to-order rugs, provided the rug is unused and returned in its original condition and packaging. If a rug arrives damaged or does not match the approved order, OwnCrafted covers the agreed solution, including replacement, refund and related shipping costs. For an approved return, we arrange a full refund to your original payment method once the shipping company confirms it has collected your item. You do not need to wait for the item to reach our workshop. The refund is expected to reach you within 5–8 calendar days from that confirmation, including weekends and public holidays. Actual posting time may vary with your bank or payment provider.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, original photography, branding and original designs published on this site belong to OwnCrafted or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.

8. Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, OwnCrafted is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed.

9. Changes

We may update these terms when our services or legal obligations change. The version that applies to an order is the version available when the order is placed, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
