An Azilal rug is a handwoven Berber piece made in the Azilal province of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains. Woven from 100% natural sheep wool with vivid abstract motifs on an ivory ground, it brings authentic Berber artistry into contemporary interiors - many collectors describe Azilals as "modern art on wool".
Each Azilal rug is created by a single weaver. The abstract symbols - diamonds, hooks, tribal glyphs - are her personal signature. No pattern is ever repeated, which means every rug we ship is genuinely one-of-a-kind.

Are the colors safe for children and pets?
All dyes used are natural plant-based (madder root, indigo, walnut hull, saffron). No synthetic chemicals, no toxic treatments.

Light shedding is normal for handwoven wool during the first 4 to 6 weeks. This decreases significantly after regular vacuuming.
